Dr. Jakob Hövener

Dr. Jakob Hövener was born in 1994 in Aachen and graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Freie Universität Berlin in February 2020. During his studies he already gained some experience working as a student assistant in the university’s equine clinic. Since July 2020 he supports our team of veterinarians. From 2020 to 2022 he wrote his doctoral thesis about the effects of cardiological findings on the performance of horses in our clinic in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Gehlen, Freie Universität Berlin. In 2021 Jakob completed an additional training at the “International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC)” and is therefore a certified veterinary chiropractor. His main professional interests include orthopedics, emergency medical aid and chiropractic.
