The Bargteheide Equine Hospital offers the whole spectrum of laboratory examinations. For many diseases laboratory results are important or sometimes even the indicator to find the right diagnosis. We are able to perform a lot of tests directly in our hospital for example hematocrit (packed cell volume), leucocytes (total white blood cell count), total plasma protein, blood gas analysis, IgG, cytology of respiratory tract samples, fecal analysis ( internal parasites) as well as muscle, liver and kidney enzymes.
If more complex laboratory examinations are required we work in close relationship with specialized labs. In the field of regenerative therapies our hospital is able to produce autologous blood products as PRP, ACP, IRAP, bionic cells and stem cells in house.
